Fat Crush: Pam Grossman

Pam Grossman is a writer, curator, and teacher of magical practice and history. She lives to educate and expose how we see Witches: as an archetype that resonates with feminists, with artists, and with anybody who resists limiting  impositions that cramp our magic. She is the writer, producer, and host of The Witch Wave podcast and the author of several books. In her latest book, Waking the Witch: Reflections on Women, Magic, and Power, she delves into witchcraft’s origins, significance and manifestation in today’s culture. Part memoir, part cultural critique, and part exploration of why and how the mysterious figure is resonating so powerfully now, Pam’s book celebrates Witches past, present, and future, and reveals the critical role they have played—and will continue to play—in shaping the world as we know it.

“A reclamation of responsibility to our spectrum of potential is imperative, as fear cannot fester in the light of gross self-acceptance. The recessed corridors of your conscience, the places you refuse to visit for what you might see– it’s here we need to look, to peel our hands away and kick off the covers.”
