Meet this week’s Fat Crush, Debbie from Copper Cow Coffee. Debbie grew up near San Francisco, the daughter of a Vietnamese refugee and a low-key hipster coffee connoisseur. She founded Copper Cow in 2017 to bring her passion for Vietnamese coffee to the world, while pushing through challenges in the industry, as a woman, as an AAPI entrepreneur.
Did y’all know that Vietnam is the second largest producer of coffee in the world?! Copper Cow has direct relationships with Vietnamese farmers, and pays them twice market rate. Debbie’s love for coffee goes beyond an insanely delicious cup, to the land of her heritage. Copper Cow is working toward being the first 100% organic Vietnamese coffee farm and Vietnamese coffee company in 2023.
