Sometimes you need a little acid to shift your perspective. Welcome to your pH reboot! Our exterior bod, i.e. our skin and mucous membranes, run a tad acidic. The use of alkaline products like soaps, along with other internal imbalances, can throw off our pH. Our Acid/Base gently adjusts pH for a healthier epidermal ecosystem.

For scalp, skin, armpits, or yoni: use a few pumps to cover the ecosystem that needs adjusting. Apply at least twice a day, after cleansing, for optimal results. Won’t mess with your other hair styling products.

With Foam-lined Aluminum Lid
Once empty: Clean bottle, separate lid, remove foam liner (check with your local recycling center if they accept foam recyclables). Once confirmed, place allcomponents in the recycling bin or take them to your local recycling facility.
Glass Dropper Top
Once used: Gently (so the glass doesn't break) wiggle the glass piece apart from the lid. It should pop out & separate cleanly. This part is 100% glass so it can be recycled wherever you recycle glass. The plastic piece can be sent back to us once you have collected a few to safely and responsibly recycle with Terracycle.

The pH of the Acid Base is 4.5.
Will Acid Base help scalp congestion?
Acid Base is excellent for promoting the natural pH of the scalp, which has a ripple effect of clearing congestion. Be sure you take a look at the styling product you are using that contain silicones, which cause hellof buildup.
Can it be used on the face?
Yes! Acid Base makes an excellent toner for congested skin!

i've been using kind of healthy/health store body wash for years... trying not to destroy my skin and also like feel good about the ingredients, but mostly feeling very dry after and not loving the harsh scents... anyways -- this one is the game changer i really hoped it would be. using it paired with a body scrub is extra fun. leaves my body lightly moisturized and fresh smelling without smelling fake or not like a human. couldn't love it more.

I think this is my favorite FATM scent to date. I have used natural non-skin stripping body washes in the past, but the texture of this is so much better. I am so stoked on Fat and the Moon potions! My partner and I are very sensitive to perfumes and it is so hard to find soap/shower gels that aren't loaded with them, and buddy I finally hit the jackpot with the bod cleanse! It has such a beautiful light natural scent and delicate consistency. I could do with a bit more lather, but that's the closest I can come to criticism of this lovely concoction. If you know me, you know I am not a huge fan of a lot of products. I am super picky and you should be too! I am a huge fan of reusable packaging such as these tins (this brand also uses biodegradable labels).
The products I’m showing off today are made by herbalists that are not only good for your body but for your skin as well. They are a small, handmade to order business that I will stand by forever.

A few brands that you should reconsider buying from are brands such as bath and body works & the body shop, I have never really understood the appeal of overly scented and unnaturally coloured products packed in plastic.
I think it is really important to do research on the products you are buying especially if you’re putting it on your body, shop small and shop sustainable!
