FAQ
Does the alcohol in the Perineal Mist sting when applied? And what is the percentage of alcohol you use?
We use 190 proof spirits in our perineal mist-only about 2ML are in each bottle. Mama's at the Coven can speak from personal experience, the mist did not sting when applied.
Is it safe to use this if there is a good amount of tearing? I read a few articles about comfrey and just wanted to double check on safety with tears.
Comfrey is just one part of this formula, but it has been traditionally used to soothe the tears that come with a postpartum perineum. If you are concerned, we recommend you get the ok from your doctor or midwife.
