Description
There is no need to put chemicals in your pits. Essential oils and Coconut oil harmonize with the moisture and stank absorbing properties of Arrowroot and baking soda. The scent starts with a lovely harmony of Black Pepper, Bergamot, and a hint of citrus with a base of Clary Sage

Ritual
Warm a pea sized dab in your fingers and rub into your pits. Apply as needed, neutralizes odor on contact.
**When you purchase Deo Cream in extreme weather fluctuations, please keep in mind that consistency issues can be more prevalent. Changes in texture are natural and does not make the product defective or unusable. Remember, we don't use any chemical stabilizers, or fillers, friends.

I really do cherish this deodorant. It smells great, it does not irritate my pits, I don't sweat even more in response to it.... I've tried quite a few deodorants: Old Spice gentleman's blend, mineral salt, all the men's brands from Target, deodorant spray, Lume, stinkbug organics.... Native is great at killing odor but is very expensive and doesn't last as long. I tried this after going down many google rabbit holes and it is so good I bought another.
I wouldn't expect to switch unless FatandtheMoon change the formula for worse or shrinkflate this amazing product. It lasts very long, resists breaking through, doesn't irritate the pits, doesn't exacerbate sweating. I like it a lot and I don't feel the need to try another product. I'll put my money in this one. Would highly recommend and plan on doing so.

This deodorant is unbelievable however its expensive and the shipping makes it even more expensive and im pretty sure yall make it in california and it's still 9 dollar shipping. Ive tried other deodorants and this is the best but c'mon. I do like the smooth consistency but sometimes it comes chunky ive bought this deodorant i think 3 times and last one was a hard/chunky consistency. This time its better. Anyway please lower the shipping, i live in California and thats ridiculous.

This deodorant cream did exactly what it says. It helps get rid of smell in the pits and has a fairly nice scent to go along with that. Very easy to apply just warm a bit in your fingers and rub in! I’m not sure if it’s just me but after using this for a bit I feel my body odor has been less & improved from not rubbing chemicals into my skin, could be just me though.
I would say my only complaint is that it’s not anti perspirant & needs to be reapplied 1-2 times.
I definitely recommend to give this a try & will be buying again! It’s always worth not using chemicals & plastic for things we do daily

I was sooo ready to love this product (so much so that I committed and bought the 6 oz big jar - lesson learned lol). Of all the FATM products I’ve tried, this is the only one that truly just hasn’t worked for me :( After looking through some other reviews, I’m noticing that my jar definitely doesn’t look the same as others.. my deodorant cream is really thick and solid, like a deodorant stick (not at all like a cream).. I have to scrape it out with a spoon because it’s not soft enough to scoop. Maybe just a weird batch?? Regardless, it smells absolutely DIVINE but after the awkward struggle to apply my little deodorant scrapings, the second I begin to sweat (even just slightly) the scent fades off and I’m left smelling like I never applied it.

I have probably tried literally every natural deodorant and this is the ONLY one I have bought more than once. The scent is lovely and subtle and I don’t tire of it. It works very well for me, usually all day but if I have a stressful day I sometimes have to reapply. I use in combo with Artemis at Dawn bod powder and more recently with acid base. Love it!

Been using for years and it's still the gold standard! I get a little irritation unless I use acid base before, and some batches are more coconut oil-heavy than others, so I always order the smallest size to make sure it's fresh and just in case of a less good batch.

I'm a dude and I've used a wide variety of deodorant. In my opinion, Squatch is a little expensive, Old Spice discontinued my favorite brand, and brands such as Tom's of Maine are just pathetic. I'm not a terribly stinky guy but I have a high protein diet, typical amount of anxiety considering that I'm a new dad, and I'm not in the best shape.
This deodorant doesn't irritate my underarms, I think it actually moisturizes them, and the scent is subtle. The scent won't broadcast but it is pleasant to get a whiff of. I do tend to break through the deoderant if I've had a tough day, but it's not as bad. If I like it well enough I'll order several more of the largest size all at once.
4 stars pending the longevity and effectiveness of the deodorant. It could probably have more essential oils for a stronger scent/better effect but I don't make the stuff so who knows it could de-stabilize the whole thing..

Best deodorant ever! The paste is easy to use, slightly scented, and takes care of my pits! No yucky residue on the clothing, no yucky chemicals on my skin, no strong overpowering scent to "cover up" the BO, easy to wash off. Just good stuff! I love this deodorant. I always thought cream deodorant was icky to handle because of the bad chemicals, but since everything else I've tried from F&TM has been great, I tried the little Fat and the Moon deodorant sampler. I liked it so well I bought the medium sized container. Now I get the big one. It is very effective and very benign to handle. According to Chinese Medicine, it's good for us to rub our armpits -- stimulates the "happiness channel." I never expected a deodorant to make me feel happy, but this one does!

Love the deodorant cream. I wish I hadn’t recycled the small jar the big one is too big to take as a carry on when flying. I stopped using standard deodorants at the beginning of the pandemic. I tried a few other brands, but this works it doesn’t get all over the place or break off in chunks. It doesn’t irritate my skin after waxing my pits. It does get creamy in the summer and pasty in the winter. I really love it.

I’ve tried so many other natural deodorants over the past few decades, and this is by far the best! I often wake up the next day without any armpit smells. That’s literally never happened to me before with natural deodorant. In the past I’ve had to wipe my pits mid day at work then re-apply natural deodorant- or live with the odor. For the past several years I was accepting log low level smell as the best I could do. I think the trick with this product is to spread the deodorant past the edges of your pits. I had some concerns about using a cream that was so high in content with coconut oil, but I’ve had zero issues with my clothing.It’s easy to wash off your hands and if there is a little bit left over on your hands it hasn’t been a big deal (like it doesn’t cause drying). I 100% recommend! It’s a great value too, and lasts a long time. The jars are reusable and durable.

Tested this on a three day backpacking trip and it really does the trick. So excited to finally find an aluminum free deodorant that doesn’t leave my clothes smelling like BO after one day! I am torn because the first jar I tried was like MAGIC. I could put the smallest dab on and I would not stink at all for up to 2 days without reapplying it. Even if I started to smell after exercise, it would reverse it. So naturally I ordered another. This batch is completely useless. It's as bad as not wearing anything at all. Super disappointed...and stinky. I want my magic potion back. Maybe they need batch numbers to keep track of who makes the good stuff.

I found an extraordinary locally made cream deodorant while visiting Oaxaca, Mexico, but as they don't ship internationally, I've been on the search for a US-based brand ever since my stash ran out. Comparing the ingredients, Fat and the Moon had a pretty close match.
The consistency of this deodorant appears to be a little more on the coconut oil side. You can feel some granules when scooping it from the jar, but they melt by the time you have rubbed it on your pits. Although I would prefer a smoother feel, the scent and effectiveness are enough to make this a 5-star cream. After applying, there is a slight residual musky smell that slowly fades. It keeps my pits smelling fresh for at least 8 hours, but if I have evening plans, I usually re-apply.
If you are cautious about this product, don't be! Creams are definitely the way to go! I love applying it with my fingers. The process is much more intimate, and I feel connected with myself.

There are lots of new deodorants on the market at the moment (it seems) that are sustainable, vegan, organic, compeltely natural etc.. but it feels like palm oil or RSPO sustainable palm oil is still being added to these types of deodorants and if you are like me and looking for a deodorant that doesn’t have any palm oil, I’ve just ordered this one to try and I’ll let you know my honest thoughts!

FAQ
Does this act as an anti-perspirant as well?
Our Deodorant Cream is not an antiperspirant. We believe in keeping pits aluminum free and letting the box naturally detoxify itself. Most people find that they sweat less after ditching antiperspirants for awhile. If you're looking for less moisture, we suggest using a bit of our Bod Powder on top the Deo to help absorb sweat.
How long does the odor protection last?
Most find that the Deodorant Creams works all day, but everyones bodies and lifestyles are different. Unfortunately, if you're stressed a lot during the day, you tend to stink more (stinking and sweating don't always go together). Pit BO can be neutralized on contact with our Deo Cream, so we suggest keeping one of our Lil' Deo's in your bag for re-application if needed.
I'm going through pre-menopause and suffer from horrible hot flashes that leave me feeling like stinky sweat. Can I use this everywhere like a lotion?
Our Deodorant Cream contains baking soda, which could be irritating to your skin if applied all over your bod. We recommend using Yoni Duster, Day Moon Bod Powder, or Artemis at Dawn Bod Powder to absorb moisture any undesired odors.
Is this safe for children?
Yes, but if you do notice any irritation you might try the Sensitive Pit Cream instead. Some bodies are sensitive to the baking soda in our regular Deo Cream.

I really do cherish this deodorant. It smells great, it does not irritate my pits, I don't sweat even more in response to it.... I've tried quite a few deodorants: Old Spice gentleman's blend, mineral salt, all the men's brands from Target, deodorant spray, Lume, stinkbug organics.... Native is great at killing odor but is very expensive and doesn't last as long. I tried this after going down many google rabbit holes and it is so good I bought another.
I wouldn't expect to switch unless FatandtheMoon change the formula for worse or shrinkflate this amazing product. It lasts very long, resists breaking through, doesn't irritate the pits, doesn't exacerbate sweating. I like it a lot and I don't feel the need to try another product. I'll put my money in this one. This deodorant cream did exactly what it says. It helps get rid of smell in the pits and has a fairly nice scent to go along with that. Very easy to apply just warm a bit in your fingers and rub in! I’m not sure if it’s just me but after using this for a bit I feel my body odor has been less & improved from not rubbing chemicals into my skin, could be just me though.
I would say my only complaint is that it’s not anti perspirant & needs to be reapplied 1-2 times.
I definitely recommend to give this a try & will be buying again! It’s always worth not using chemicals & plastic for things we do daily

I was sooo ready to love this product (so much so that I committed and bought the 6 oz big jar - lesson learned lol). Of all the FATM products I’ve tried, this is the only one that truly just hasn’t worked for me :( After looking through some other reviews, I’m noticing that my jar definitely doesn’t look the same as others.. my deodorant cream is really thick and solid, like a deodorant stick (not at all like a cream).. I have to scrape it out with a spoon because it’s not soft enough to scoop. Maybe just a weird batch?? Regardless, it smells absolutely DIVINE but after the awkward struggle to apply my little deodorant scrapings, the second I begin to sweat (even just slightly) the scent fades off and I’m left smelling like I never applied it.

I'm a dude and I've used a wide variety of deodorant. In my opinion, Squatch is a little expensive, Old Spice discontinued my favorite brand, and brands such as Tom's of Maine are just pathetic. I'm not a terribly stinky guy but I have a high protein diet, typical amount of anxiety considering that I'm a new dad, and I'm not in the best shape.
This deodorant doesn't irritate my underarms, I think it actually moisturizes them, and the scent is subtle. The scent won't broadcast but it is pleasant to get a whiff of. I do tend to break through the deoderant if I've had a tough day, but it's not as bad. If I like it well enough I'll order several more of the largest size all at once.

I always thought cream deodorant was icky to handle because of the bad chemicals, but since everything else I've tried from F&TM has been great, I tried the little Fat and the Moon deodorant sampler. Love the deodorant cream. I wish I hadn’t recycled the small jar the big one is too big to take as a carry on when flying. I stopped using standard deodorants at the beginning of the pandemic. I’ve tried so many other natural deodorants over the past few decades, and this is by far the best! I often wake up the next day without any armpit smells. That’s literally never happened to me before with natural deodorant. In the past I’ve had to wipe my pits mid day at work then re-apply natural deodorant- or live with the odor. For the past several years I was accepting log low level smell as the best I could do. I think the trick with this product is to spread the deodorant past the edges of your pits. I had some concerns about using a cream that was so high in content with coconut oil, but I’ve had zero issues with my clothing.It’s easy to wash off your hands and if there is a little bit left over on your hands it hasn’t been a big deal (like it doesn’t cause drying). I 100% recommend! It’s a great value too, and lasts a long time. The jars are reusable and durable.

Tested this on a three day backpacking trip and it really does the trick. So excited to finally find an aluminum free deodorant that doesn’t leave my clothes smelling like BO after one day! I am torn because the first jar I tried was like MAGIC. I could put the smallest dab on and I would not stink at all for up to 2 days without reapplying it. Even if I started to smell after exercise, it would reverse it. So naturally I ordered another. This batch is completely useless. It's as bad as not wearing anything at all. Super disappointed...and stinky. I want my magic potion back. Maybe they need batch numbers to keep track of who makes the good stuff.

I found an extraordinary locally made cream deodorant while visiting Oaxaca, Mexico, but as they don't ship internationally, I've been on the search for a US-based brand ever since my stash ran out. Comparing the ingredients, Fat and the Moon had a pretty close match.
The consistency of this deodorant appears to be a little more on the coconut oil side. You can feel some granules when scooping it from the jar, but they melt by the time you have rubbed it on your pits. Although I would prefer a smoother feel, the scent and effectiveness are enough to make this a 5-star cream. After applying, there is a slight residual musky smell that slowly fades. It keeps my pits smelling fresh for at least 8 hours, but if I have evening plans, I usually re-apply.
If you are cautious about this product, don't be! Creams are definitely the way to go! I love applying it with my fingers. The process is much more intimate, and I feel connected with myself.
I've been using this deodorant for two weeks now and am quite pleased. Pro tip: I bought the large size, but scooped a little into a smaller container to bring in my bag for convenience.

There are lots of new deodorants on the market at the moment (it seems) that are sustainable, vegan, organic, compeltely natural etc.. but it feels like palm oil or RSPO sustainable palm oil is still being added to these types of deodorants and if you are like me and looking for a deodorant that doesn’t have any palm oil, I’ve just ordered this one to try and I’ll let you know my honest thoughts!
